Better to die, with a chance of taking out the person holding the weapon on you than to quiver and cower like a punk and probably be hitched to the back of some cracker’s truck and drug to death.
If someone pulls a weapon on me, one of us dies.
At least that is my intent (of course I could lose my nerve, but I’m also a bit of a berserker and not rational when threatened).
