Yup, now we’re realizing how valuable to our spirit and sanity Rush really was. We need Rush more than ever now but he’s gone. I wasn’t really a regular listener, but I always tuned in when I could. I always wanted to hear Rush’s take on things, especially when something big had happened. It was more than enough to know that Rush had a keen intuition and astute knowledge of the nuts and bolts of politics. He knew how the sausage was made in other words. I don’t see anyone ever replacing him or even getting to the same league.

A RUSH montage of the MSM reports of “the knife fight” would have served us well.

RIP

I loved the show where Rush played all the leftard talking heads reacting to W's choice of Dick Cheney as his running mate in 2000. They all kept saying that W chose Cheney because he'd bring gravitas to the ticket. Gravitas wasn't even a frequently used word at the time and yet they ALL used it. Rush strung together a montage of audio clips of everyone saying "gravitas" punctuated with a Jose Feliciano sound-alike singing "He Needs Gravitas" to the tune of Feliz Navidad. Hilarious.

In the meantime, we'll have to make do with Tucker. I don't watch TV news, including Fox, but many do. Tucker is getting killer ratings and is providing the talking points for conservatives who don't get news and commentary from the internet and sites like FR as we do.
