Does the 20 year rule apply to C&R FFLs?

If we ever again have a Constitutional Conservative President, he should shred all the registration records.

The purpose of registration is confiscation.

Yes, they don’t have a clue about half of the firearms.

Like I have said in the past. Every gun owner needs to inventory his collection and see which firearms have a paper trail back to him.
Then trade, or sell those and purchase new ones that have no paper trail to you.

Wish I had all those I purchased way back before the 1968 gun control act became law.

The thing that chaps F-Troops ass more than anything is the mid 1990s until now in that millions of firearms were bought and transferred to citizens without a NICS check due to their exemption in either having an FFL, NFA, or much more commonly: concealed handgun permits.

ATF wants to know who bought them and they won't know unless they photocopy every 4473 during inspection or gets dated FFL paperwork mess when an FFL sells/closes/transfers.

ATF wants a gun registry. Then they want to take them.

I think you are correct.....but not just RINOs on the R side.

It is my firm belief that not a single politician would shed tears if the citizenry were totally disarmed.

Does anyone think there's not already a federal firearms registry?

Yeah there is, but it started in earnest when the fibbys started the NICS System in 1998.

Before that they were doing record keeping on gun store buys, it was very incomplete, but they kept records.

Today's database is probably 80-85% complete which means that there are 40-50 million untraceable guns in the USA.

I had a coupla of them but the great boat sinking...

they don’t have a clue about half of the firearms.

As if they have the slightest idea of how many guns have been given to friends or relatives, been parceled out and sold privately in estate sales or just mainly sold to get cash in times of need.

PATRIOT ACT FORCE A 2ND BACKGROUND CHECK. At least I didn’t have to pay for it like I did the 1st in 1998. Tennessee is now Permitless to carry, you still need a background check to buy the guns. And fill out paperwork. I bought 2 this past year, a new revolver for my carry weapon, and a AR15. Delivery on my third batch of ammo was delayed yesterday, it best show up today, FedX had a problem.

Republicans have always known this could happen. When they had the house, senate, white house...they did NOTHING in foresight to guard against something like this.

*************

Doing NOTHING is the only thing they do.

The only purpose of any registry is confiscation. That is precisely what happened in Katrina. All around the areas expecting flooding state and local coppers went from house to house confiscating guns. These were just neighbors, not anybody on a criminal list of any sort. There is even a video where a 80-yr old woman is in her kitchen and asked where her gun is (they had it on their list). She pulls it out of drawer and offers it to the deranged copper — who promptly knocks her to the ground. There was no threat. Others were knocked to the ground outside their houses and handcuffed while other coppers tore the house apart looking for listed guns.
