Good. How many times can US play globocop. England tried doing that from the Napoleonic wars until after WW II, and what did they get for it? Labour in power. It’s in Australia’s neighborhood, let them deal with it.

But it’s important that they are dealing with it. China wants Taiwan bad, and they want to encircle it with all these chains of islands to do it, and they’re paying off local politicians. I suspect that the Dems are on their payroll as well. So the way to combat it is to dispute their hold on these chicken-sh!t islands and countries in this neighborhood without constant US military intervention. Good on Australia for stepping up. Good on the Solomon citizenry for refusing to put up with it.
