Actually, there’s a CMS mandate that hospitals are scrambling to follow lest they lose Medicare and Medicaid funding. It’s an unspoken crisis right now. I have a number of nurses in my family who are holding out but will likely be unemployed by 4 January.

Biden’s vaccine mandates are a sneaky way to lockdown without even having to say the word “Lockdown”..

Earlier this fall, Children’s set a Nov. 15 deadline for all staff members to be vaccinated against COVID and boasted of 90 percent compliance. Children’s Wisconsin spokesman Andrew Brodzeller said in late October that any employee who was not fully vaccinated by Nov. 15 would be fired the following day.
Well, Considering that the CMS deadline to have at least one shot is DEC06, this staffing shortage IS ONE HUNDRED PERCENT the fault of the hospital. THE HOSPITAL set a mandatory date much earlier than the Federal one, so it's on them that these people were fired already. Hell, the hospital could have ignored the mandate and fought it, and kept all those people on staff and had sufficient staff to deal with 18 people coming in. But they not only went with it, they forced an even more draconian one on their staff.
