BLM has a point: shootings by police officers are not judged by impartial people. I'm an advocate for citizen review boards for shootings.

I began to feel this way when I saw an episode of the TV series Cops, where police put themselves in harm's way (jumping in front of a fleeing car) and shooting the driver, claiming "self defense". Shooting the tires, I could see. And not just shooting the driver, multiple cops emptying their clips...
