I tested positive, as well as my whole family, we all had symptoms of varying degrees. The one symptom that we all had was loss of smell and taste. Could not smell anything, bleach right under my nose and no scent. So what did we have?

How long were you without taste and smell?

I’ve had previous cold (corona viruses) or flu which severely dulled taste and smell.

I tested “positive” 3 different types of tests (work required it) for “covid” and I never lost taste or smell the whole time. I surely had some thing because I had prolonged high fever then it dropped to a mid range fever for days, God knows what it was.

I beleieve the tests just pick up on corona virus so lost of people test positive and since their are hundreds of them, that (to me) is why some people get various versions. I also beleive they did alter a corona virus in the lab and release it, but I don’t think everyone who tests positive with symptoms is actually battling the lab version. Some just got a cold or flu but for skewed testing, test positive for covid.
