During the tribute to Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michael, ‘Weekend Update’ anchor Michael Che said: ‘It’s a bit intimidating to do jokes in front of President Joe Biden’ and then added: ‘There’s no way he’s still awake right now.’

Biden was shown in his presidential box, awake, laughing and clapping.

‘It’s a bit intimidating to do jokes in front of the most powerful man in the world,’ Jimmy Fallon said during the Michaels’ tribute, adding ‘and President Biden.’

I guess they both have the same joke writer.

Bette Midler also took time off from drinking herself into a stupor and rage tweeting in order to pick up an award.

Have you seen letterman lately? He looks like Marx or like he’s smoking a monkey.

He looks like either Charles Darwin or playwright George Bernard Shaw.

I used to love watching his show. He had funny skits and characters and reminded me of Steve Allen's Tonight Show. Then at some point, he ceased to be funny and turned into a bitter a-hole.

Elites attending the Kennedy Center Honors on Sunday night gave their ‘president,’ Dementia Joe, a standing ovation.

The moment occurred in the opening remarks when left wing, Deep State tool David Letterman bashed former President Donald Trump to acknowledge President Biden.

“It’s quite nice once again to see the presidential box being occupied,” toady Letterman spit.

The crowd, filled with Hollywood elites and left wing politicians, went crazy, applauding wildly for their brain dead, puppet president.

I tried watching Letterman a few times 25 or 30 years ago and could not figure out why anyone liked him. His “Top 10” lists were generally pretty lame, at least in my opinion.

Looks like a live version of Gravel Gertie from the olde comics/cartoons of Snuffy Smith. Letterman is an A@@, simply, and always quite full of himself. His only saving interest is in Americana music- namely mountain/country music, bluegrass and such. Like Steve Martin’s annual banjo award on his show. Otherwise Letterman is a very old stale fart.

The only things that were ever funny about Letterman were his top ten lists which were probably written for him by joke writers.

Letterman could do unconventional stuff in the late night slot after Johnny Carson. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t, but it was fresh and surprising. When he moved up to the 11:30 time slot he figured he had to be tame and boring and the show lost its zing. He was kind of a jerk in the 12:30 slot, but it was funny. He couldn’t be such a funny jerk in the 11:30 slot so he was just a jerk.
