Former President Donald Trump said in an interview Wednesday that President Biden was too gentle with Russian President Vladimir Putin in a Tuesday virtual meeting that focused on the buildup of Moscow’s forces on the border with Ukraine.
“I looked yesterday at the two of them and I sort of said, ‘This is the Pittsburgh Steelers in their prime playing against your high school football team,’ because things were given up at that meeting that were terrible,” Trump told radio host Hugh Hewitt.
Biden said Wednesday that he warned Putin of “severe consequences — economic consequences like none he’s ever seen” if Russia invades Ukraine, but Trump said Putin would not be concerned because there is no threat of the US entering a military conflict.
“Look, the bottom line is Putin would have never done this with me. He would have never done it … They don’t talk about the real thing that he’s afraid of, which is war. He doesn’t want war,” Trump said.

He’d take them, and then in two years, the sanctions come off like they always do.”
“There was nothing scary about that meeting,” Trump went on. “Putin walked away from that meeting saying ‘Wow, that was nice.'”

Joe Biden - as useful as tits on a bull. What a waste of space. God willing, this pathetic excuse for a man will have cerebral hemorrhage and drop dead within a month or so.
Ironically that’s what Paul Harvey called the US/USSR Olympic hockey game in 1980.
If the USA or Russia put troops in the Ukraine in conflict it will escalate to tactical nukes and then nuclear war. Putin nor we wish this.
Putin fears Ukraine as a member of NATO which the Ukraine is not. When the Soviet Union collapsed we (NATO) assured the sovereignty of the Ukraine in exchange for them giving up their nuclear missiles. They did and this was a great error on the part of the Ukraine.
The solution to the problem is not complex. Assure Putin that the Ukraine will not become part of NATO. Assure Putin that our original agreement to the Independence of Ukraine is still intact and valid. Flood the Ukraine with high tech anti tank and anti personnel arms. They know how to use them.
If the Russians do attack we must then step in as NATO. This will not end well for Russia, NATO, nor the USA.

Let’s see.... Putin is former KGB and has risen to the top of a brutal murderous system and maintained his position there for decades. Biden is a partisan hack who always went along to get along and by shear attrition managed to finally get a shot at the big time. And thanks to the perfect confluence of a pandemic, unprecedented media assault on the sitting president, and rampant fraud, now sits in the Oval Office. Yeah, I’ll take Putin in this match-up.
Not to mention the Afghanistan debacle and the fact that our military is more focused on getting woke than actual preparedness and war fighting. Putin is many things but he is not a fool.
It’s much worse than that. It’s a football game between the School for the Blind and the Dementia Ward All-Stars.
People have an illusions that Putin is a mastermind. He has failed at most things he has tried to do.
Since there is no USSR why is there a NATO? What would NATO accomplish? Most of its forces are pathetic. It could never invade Russia and Russia has no desire to attack to the west. But Russia will defend it’s Black Sea interests. Oh yes it will.

I figure Putin’s plan is to humiliate Biden. So far, his plan is working.
