The 137-3 figure is highly deceptive because Trump refuses to endorse candidates unless he thinks they are going to win. That’s why he endorses so many candidates who he openly criticizes later. He endorsed Mitt Romney, for example, in 2018.

It’s almost like someone going 137-3 in picking the winners of NFL games. It sounds impressive until you find out they made their selections with two minutes left in the fourth quarter of each game.
