For anyone questioning former President Donald Trump’s lock on the Republican Party after his 2020 loss, look no further than the impact his endorsement packs.
In new polling of several House Republican primary races, a Trump endorsement pushes 2022 candidates past 50%, even against long-established incumbents such as Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney.
“The Trump endorsement is a true dagger,” said Zachary Moyle of SoCo Strategies. “Trump is the king of kingmakers.”
In last month’s elections, for example, Trump-endorsed candidates went four for four.
And according to Brian Jack, the former White House political director, Trump’s 2020 record was 120-2, and this year, it is 17-1.
“Results don’t lie,” he said. “The power of President Trump’s endorsement is undeniable.”

Why so many RINOs?
Ten years ago Sara Palin was clocking in a 70% endorsement success rate. Trunp is the GOAT.
OINK! Looks like the blue-lefties are in trouble!
Right now I would prefer Trump to be the kingmaker and not the candidate. I think he is too divisive although I would vote for him.
he he he.
Notice the only name mentioned? The woman is on
a bus to nowhere. Time to admit: “He’s got that magic
touch”. Such a shame it’s not spread to others of the GOPe
137-3? Yeah, we know that’s what really happened, but what was it after the early morning Biden vote dump?
“Ten years ago Sara Palin was clocking in a 70% endorsement success rate.”
True, but that being acknowledged, Palin did not “buck” RINO incumbents at near the rate that Trump has(is).
Anyone who supports liberty, freedom, and not throwing money into a black hole will be hated by Big Media (See Tagline.). The difference is that Trump will fight back, unlike most others.
Same here. I'm pulling for Ron DeSantis to throw his hat into the race after he secures his gubernatorial re-election.
I think he is too divisive although I would vote for him.

Division is undeniable and compromising “conservatives”, otherwise known as RINOs, should not be supported in any manner.
Yes. There are many things I have always liked and respected about Donald Trump, but fairly often he will act in an undisciplined and unnecessarily damaging way.
I am talking about Trump’s recent remark to Bibi Netanyahu.
Trump is still angry that Bibi was among the first to accept Biden as president, even before all the fraud was done being committed.
Netanyahu did what any head of state must do, which is to accept what the powers that be are saying about their own country, and to get ready to conduct business with that person. It may seem ‘disloyal’, but I say it was ‘just business, nothing personal’.
I didn’t like seeing Trump flinging curse Tweets at someone like Bibi, who has been an ally for quite some time. That, to me is undisciplined and potentially destructive behavior. That was inappropriate.
“2020 loss”
News to me
Exactly as your user name states.
Just like “rare”, “loss” should require sarcastic quote marks.
I sort of agree. I think the Trump presidency was one of the greatest things to ever happen to the USA . By 2024 he’ll be quite old and I can’t see much wrong with Desantis.
One does not have to be a judge or even a lawyer to serve on the SCOTUS. Can you imagine the exploding heads if he got a seat on the SC?
Exactly.
I have never been registered as a Republican, and I never shall be.
More importantly I will never ever vote for a Democrat under any circumstances, no natter what the Office.
Don't fall into that trap that the Democrats have set for us. Preferring non-divisive candidates gets us weak sisters like Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush and Paul Ryan. Those types will do NOTHING to move conservatism forward and they will "cross-the-aisle" with Democrats every single time.
