Melanie Bitner, 47, who insists she is not anti-vaccine, got her first shot of the AstraZeneca vaccine on April 23 and soon became extremely ill.
The Squamish marketing and communications professional says that 12 days later she was admitted to the Vancouver General Hospital intensive care unit with multiple blood clots and was “pretty much at death’s door.”
She was released from the hospital after a week but had to be readmitted when her rare condition, known as vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia, worsened.
Bitner says she has since lost her business, six months of income, her health and is now fearful of getting a second vaccine shot.
She has been unable to get an exemption against having to be fully vaccinated, which has had a major impact on her life....
"I have had to quit or have been kicked out of ... almost everything, including my children’s school events and activities.”
Bitner said that her hematologist supports her case and has attempted, to no avail, to help her to get an exemption due to her condition....
[Deputy provincial health officer] Emerson said that no exemptions have been granted to date but that officials are “very close” to initiating a review of the requests that have been submitted....

Never have, probably never will understand people who after suffering a serious injury from a vaccine immediately say “I’m not anti-vaxx! I’m not anti-vaxx!” Why do we worship scientists and doctors so much? They’re flawed human beings. Didn’t science probably create the virus? Didn’t science create the shots that are harming so many?

The only alternative to a belief in science is a belief that you were lovingly created in the image of God, to include moral law. So they would live in a Matrix created by whomever is empowering the science and kneel when their masters say kneel. It is a heart problem, not a head problem. Nothing in the universe screams you were created more than the universe itself.
So they worship people whom they know care nothing for them because its more fun, for now.

the term anti-vaxxer is a new thing.
I have not been vaxxed yet for covid, yet I am not an anti-vaxxer. I had my inoculations as a child, and lord knows only what was jabbed in me when I was in the military, and I have given the standard set of vaxxes (polio etc) to my children.
The covid vaxx doesnt seem to work at all so I have no need to inject toxins into my body for a virus that is virtually no risk to me.
If someone wants the covid vaxx—thats on them.

Most of us grew up with real vaccines, and respect them
those real vaccines contained a fixed amount of dead/de-activated virus, and had to go thru years of testing before they were approved (the legacy of Thalidomide)
so just by that definition, the Covid “vaccine” isn’t a real vaccine
it doesn’t contain a fixed amount of dead virus, and it hasn’t gone through years of careful testing
that’s how the “discrepancy” can be explained (I’m like that too)
Five months after my 2nd shot I was still shedding patches of skin the size of quarters. I evidenced 3 different autoimmune reactions that I reported to VAERS.
The first shot was fine. The second shot was crap. There will not be a third shot.
I got my polio vax as a child. I got all my other vax’s as a child.
Never needed a second shot
Never needed a booster
The accusation of anti-vax is a successful method to other and cancel a political opponent.

Same here. I got the smallpox and polio vaccines as a child in the early 60’s. Now I only take a flu vaccine because my asthma doesn’t like having the flu much, but it’s a traditional killed virus. Anything else, like tetanus, I only get if needed. Living on a farm, that happens.
Covid jabs are not vaccines.
I guess her duty to society is to take the second shot and die.

Methodist Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois fired my family physician of 20 years under the same circumstances.
She had a violent reaction to the first one she took.
