During President Joe Biden’s online Summit for Democracy, the video feed of a Taiwanese delegate was cut off after showing a slide of a map depicting Taiwan as independent from China. However, the map was about democracy, not sovereignty.
Two sources close to the issues told Reuters that Taiwan’s Digital Minister Audrey Tang was cut off for about a minute after showing the map.
Soon, Tang was back on, but this time, the feed was audio only, captioned: “Minister Audrey Tang Taiwan.” There was also a disclaimer that read: “Any opinions expressed by individuals on this panel are those of the individual, and do not necessarily reflect the views of the United States government.”
The US adopted the “one-China” policy, meaning it cannot recognize Taiwan, Tibet, and Hong Kong, as independent nations.
Washington still tries to show support for Taiwan, case in point, inviting it to the Democracy Summit.
The State Department blamed the incident on “confusion” in screen-sharing, and called it “an honest mistake.”

Of course, Biden wouldn’t want to piss off China, who has all the video’s of Hunter raping his niece
While the State Department definitely deals in confusion, it has never made an “an honest mistake.”
Don’t forget the Obamas. There’s probably ALSO video of Hunter banging Malia as well. The online photo of Malia’s backside and the HUNTER is about as fake as “Epstein didn’t kill himself” is fake.. IT’S NOT.
There are so many warning signs that Biden is going to let China take over Taiwan without firing a shot.
Both the PRC and the ROC consider that there is only 1 china and that the two of them dispute.
The big cluster... is that "Taiwan" i.e. the Republic of China, claims Mongolia, parts of India, Japan etc. as part of "China"
Taiwan is toast.
The LA Slimes since 2008 has had video of Obama with Palestinian Rashid Khalidi at a house party, the LA Slimes still to this day refuses to turn over the tape
You ain’t gonna like it, but let them.
If Taiwan wants to keep it’s sovereignty, they can build ‘the bomb’ and use MAD.
Otherwise I consider it a China matter, no different than the problem of Mexico WHO ANY GOD-LOVING CONSERVATIVE WOULD DECLINE China, Russia or any other country’s claim to intervene (the latter stated as opinion regarding eventual US war with Mexico).
What an ass backward foreign policy.
