I’m 5 days out of the hospital after a 7 day stay for covid pneumonia. The 1st day was spent in the ER covid waiting room. A hellish 6 hours sitting in a wheelchair waiting for xrays blood work results. Not a damn thing to drink until I was finally able to get someone’s attention and begged them for a drink.
Anyhow I was put in an ER bed about 7 hours after arriving. One of the first questions I was asked was if I had a living will and if I wanted to be resuscitated. My response was that I didn’t come here to die and if you need to be a hero by all means do it.
