52% of REPUBLICANS disapprove of Mitch McConnell: New poll shows Senate Minority Leader is one of the least popular U.S. leaders with Trump upping his bid to have him replaced

A poll released Monday shows powerful Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell hemorrhaging GOP support, less than a year until the 2022 midterm elections.

McConnell came in dead last in Gallup's new survey ranking 11 federal officials by their job approval ratings. His 34 percent public approval is lower than that of President Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and even House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

-snip-

Just 46 percent of McConnell's fellow Republicans approve of his job in the Senate, while a decisive 52-point majority disapprove.

The overwhelming dissatisfaction in the Senate's longest-serving GOP leader could leave him in a vulnerable position -- especially with Donald Trump and his supporters hammering away at McConnell's credibility for months.

In contrast to McConnell's numbers, his House counterpart, Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, polls the highest among any Congressional leader of either party listed in the survey.

McCarthy's staunch support for Trump coupled with his positive rating among his own party is a strong indicator that the former president is still very much a kingmaker among the GOP.

Mitch McConnell is a back stabbing POS. Nothing, NOTHING will happen to Democrats or their agenda while he is in “leadership”.

We will not get new leadership by re-electing Mitch’s bitches.

Crapo, Grassley, Hoeven, Lankford, Lee, Moran, Murkowsky, Rubio, Scott, Thune and Young all need to be primaried in 2022, even if Trump endorses them.

We will never MAGA by re-electing Assistant Democrats.

53%?

You know how they do fake polls for Brandoncrats? The also do fake polls (and stolen elections) for fake conservative Republicants. And most especially for fake conservative derps who happen to be the Senate party leader. That's a real big eet right there for them.

I'll say his real approval rating among the patriot wing of the Republican party is probly like 3%, add in the Republicant derp wing, and let's say 15%.

That number should be higher. GOP voters need to start paying more attention to politics, regardless of how distasteful it might be to them.

Its pathetic that his disapproval is only 52%. It should be close to 100%.

Great — so let’s replace McConnell. Who takes his place, and who has any confidence that his successor would be any better?

I’m no fan of McConnell, but he’s pretty much got an impossible job to do.

Rightly or wrongly, he will be leader of the Republicans in the Senate until he no longer wants the job. President Trump’s influence there is extremely limited. He should have learned that lesson by now.

Mitch was pretty good with holding the line re a Supreme nom at the end of Mister Obama's whatever (I'll give him that much), but he shies away from important conflicts, he's beyond weak, limp, squishieee in most areas.

I wouldn't call Mitch a "rino", he knows better but he's waaayyy too eager to make a deal. I'd call him a weak sister who belonged on the back bench.

Mitch will be remembered among us traditional GOPers as a squish. He will be remembered among Dems as "quite reasonable".

Well, its a lock that the turtle is a Derp/China controlled fake stalking horse puppet.

He needs to be gone regardless of who his replacement is. Chances are high they'll just replace him with another one, but its not 100%. We could get lucky.

Its like playing the lotto. Its like my dear old dad used to say. You can't get any stew if you're not in the teepee.

See? Right there is why his approval is 53% (or so they say).

In regards to RINOS, we have to stop using the term “elect” and completely focus on the term “nominate”.

If that whole list of awful Senators were successfully denied being nominated, then we have rid ourselves of them for good. Sure, new RINOS will appear, but getting rid of these standard bearers, who represent the absolute worst in our government..... fake Conservatives, who exist to strangle true Conservatives, would be absolutely seismic in the political world.

Sadly, the majority of GOP voters just don’t grasp this. They are so addicted to their November Uniparty fake wrestling victories.....”At least that hardcore Marxist that was running against McConnell didn’t get elected, we really dodged a bullet with her”.

Anyone else remember who we got stuck with after the GOP finally kicked out The Crying Bonehead?
Paul Ryan the DNC spy.

Just like the Senate, if we want new leadership in the House, we need to replace the 145 that voted for Liz Cheney in Feb. to lead them.

I would take Nancy Pelosi over McConnell. Seriously. The guy stabs us in the back every chance he gets. Pelosi I know what to expect.

Just think of all the leftist dreams that the Democrats have accomplished with their first year having the House, the Senate and the presidency, even with the slimmest of margins. The Republicans, on the other hand, did not even defend the Republican president when he was attacked with Russiagate nor did they let him have his chosen nominees. The Republican Party is pathetic.
