my text Your text is however you want to label your link—usually that website's name, but you're free to label it as you wish. Here is an example: I'll link to Bible Gateway's site, but I'll give it a different label.

Go to this https:
link and copy/paste the link artifact into your post. Replace the "url" and link text with what you want to show.
The link artifact looks like the following:
< a href="url">link text< /a>
But you have to remove the space following each "<" for it to work. I added the spaces in order to show the artifact.

You can use an anchor tag html element that creates a link to a target URL. I'll try to show this in plain text. For example:
FreeRepublic HomeThe _blank opens link in a new tab.
