He’s probably persona non grata among the informed base, but that doesn’t mean the establishment won’t push him forward as the nominee.

Pence is only slightly more dynamic and charismatic than George Washington’s remains.

Mike Pence for president? I ran that idea past a guy I know. His response:

There’s not a single voting person in my circle of family, friends, acquaintances who would give Pence the time of day, much less vote for him.
The “snake” KNEW the consequences of a Biden Regime and he wimped out of actions that were constitutionally in his power to do, thus he stabbed Trump in the back & threw America under the “boot” of tyranny. He’s “done” politically, IMO .... let’s see if he’s too stupid/arrogant to realize that & tries to run in 2024.

On the author...
Richard Weisberg is the Walter Floersheimer Professor of Constitutional Law at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University and a distinguished visiting professor of law at the University of Pittsburgh. He was an appointee to the U.S. Commission on the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad under the Obama administration.

Let him run. He’ll get heckled for being feckless backstabbing squish on 1/6, and waste a lot of RINO money.

As someone who’s been to Mount Vernon, and participated in the wreath laying ceremony at George Washington’s grave, I can assure you that George’s remains are vastly more dynamic and charismatic than Mike Pence.

Pence is an okay guy, but he can't win and he wouldn't make a good president, so he shouldn't even try. Also, Pence running would not mean that the GOP or the country had put Trump behind it, rather the opposite.
If Weisberg really wants to get over Trump the way to do that would be by assimilating Trump, not by repudiating him -- that simply leaves a big hole only Trump can fill.

I think Pence should have known like criminals who later regret being in prison: If you don’t want to do the time then don’t do the crime.
He knew he was a chicken#@$@ cowardly a-hole for betraying Trump and 80 million voters trying to save our Republic.
He chose to do it in hopes of being the next Liz Cheney, Jeb Bush or Kasich American icon. Selfish.

His whole strategy of getting rid of Trump, holding on to his supporters and getting back to the good graces of the establishment scum ...has majorly backfired. Now he doesn’t know what to do.

90% of the current elected GOP would support him. 90% of the GOP voters would not.
