Like Detroit, it’s going to enter a death spiral. Too much infrastructure, too few people. Maintenance fails, infrastructure rots, people leave, less tax money...with a healthy dose of corruption taking what does come in.
Yeah...I could see that happening. Detroit is finally on the up but it’s taken decades and still has a long way to go. NYC is on a whole other level though.
