Don’t be so quick to dismiss Cruz. He could be useful trying to make amends for his mistakes. He could start with a goodwill gesture by getting the 1/6 trespassers the same sentences as any BLM offender.

I can't recall a time when Cruz made a "goodwill gesture." He's too arrogant and thinks too highly of himself.

The time for a goodwill gesture was his RNC convention speech in 2016, and he whiffed, defining himself forever.
