A Minneapolis landlord says he was attempting to have multiple stolen vehicles towed from a lot behind his property when a group of individuals attacked him.
Dale Howey manages 11 properties throughout the Twin Cities, and says last week, residents at the Green Rock Apartments, located at 2440 Harriet Avenue in Minneapolis, reported cars illegally parked in the back lot. Howey says it was later learned the cars had been reported stolen.
“There was one without plates,” Howey said. “That raised a flag.”
On Dec. 30, he notified a towing company the cars needed to be moved. Around 1:30 a.m. on Dec 31, he says a group approached him.
“They said ‘Hey man, that’s our car!'” Howey said. “I said it’s listed as stolen, and it’s being towed… One guy comes up and puts his phone right in my face, and I swatted it out of the way and the other guy clocks me.”
Howey says he woke up one hour later at Hennepin County Medical Center with a concussion, three-inch staples in his skull, a broken cheekbone and a broken eye socket.
“They were out for blood,” Howey said. “They knew what they were doing. They set me up.”
Minneapolis police spokesperson Garrett Parten confirmed police are actively searching for two males involved in the assault.

A homeless camp in Tacoma got raided last week. 60 of the cars there were stolen.
How is it possible to have that many stolen cars in one location? Don’t the insurance companies have investigators?
If the police could easily be monitoring the camps and running plates, why did they wait so long?
Think how many thugs with warrants are driving those cars.......
Ya run the plates, call the vehicle owner, they come and get their car.
It has to be a willfull choice not to enforce the law.
They were mostly peaceful thieves!
He should have had a relative standing by with a shotgun.

It's a Democrat town. They will not enforce the law against Democrat voters. And "homeless" encampments is probably where Antifa foot soldiers are recruited from.

Why didn't he tow the cars mid-morning when the individuals would all be unconscious?
as with most crime, enforcing the law will shed an unwanted light on the race of the perps... and we cant have that if we are seeking equality now can we?...

Minneapolis seems to be loving it’s new third world status. Glad they’re happy.
When doing biz in the hood it is best to go at sunrise.
It would be easier and faster to just take a photo of each arrest, then release them on the spot. Sort of like "Catch and Release" for a fishing license.
