The man who allegedly purchased the assault rifle Kyle Rittenhouse used during an August 2020 protest in Kenosha, Wis., agreed to plead no contest to a non-criminal citation of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and will have two felony counts dismissed as part of the agreement.
Dominick Black, 20, had faced two felony charges of delivering a dangerous weapon to a minor, resulting in death.
But Black's attorney and assistant district attorney Thomas Binger reached a proposed plea agreement, which Binger filed on Friday, according to The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

and pay a $2,000 fine...
OK, so basically they are just robbing him of $2,000.
AND lose his Second Amendment Rights for the rest of his life.
The Law bears little resemblance to Justice, but strongly identifies with theft.
No, they are robbing his lawyer of 25K in legal fees.
.... Guess the dude hired himself the Cheapest Lawyer he could find .... And definitely got what he paid for ....

It’s rare to get more Justice than one is willing to pay for and tough to know exactly what the current price of Justice is in any cou8rt.
It wasn’t a Felony, he shouldn’t lose any rights.
Honestly 2k to make this go away would be worth it.
Unlikely, if he’s only pleading to a non-criminal citation. No felony charges.
What’s the problem here? Seems like the law is intended to catch those who sells weapons to gangs?
Cheaper to pay the fine than the lawyer.
This doesn’t seem like a bad decision. I think he keeps all his rights and it acts as a deterrent. It is something he shouldn’t have done. Kyle’s mom could and should have purchased it for him if she thought it was OK. That is what parents are for.

I stand (I’m sitting) corrected. If he keeps his rights, he did the right thing.
If I remember correctly the rifle was delivered to Kyle’s dad and not Kyle.
And the rifle was kept at Kyle’s dad’s home.
I think that most people would agree that there is nothing illegal in that arrangement.
The deaths that occurred were completely legal as far as I am concerned.
