Hey McCarthy - in the northernVirginia DC suburbs, the Chamber of Commerce went democrat around 2004 when they went all in for cheap labor illegal immigrants and backed democrats and RINOs who wanted the illegals here.
Besides the flood of illegals now in the area, making Spanish an equal language and filling up the jails, the CoC effort turned the area from mixed dem/Republican to solid blue. That in turn flipped the state solid blue as the rest of the state could not overcome the northern Virginia vote, much of it fraudulent and stacked with the votes of those same illegals and also green card aliens. And yes, they do vote, in large numbers.
McCarthy is certainly saying the right things.
The hard liners in the party pushing out the lets go along to get along Rino’s it’s about time to much is at risk.
He hasn’t criticized Mitch McConnell yet.
Bingo! Nice to see McCarthy is at least saying the right things, although attacking the Chamber of Commerce is an easy one with no downside. The Chamber has left us a long time ago so this isn’t exactly “daring.”
My default assumption is that all organizations that are not being targeted for destruction by the Democrats (i.e., communists) are Front Groups the Dems have already co-opted.
McCarthy’s interaction with Breitbart News, and his harsh comments on that platform, suggest:
1) He wants conservatives to see him as thoroughly distanced from the C of C.
2) With Republicans likely taking control of the House in 2022, McCarthy is hinting that the C of C has a whole lot of spending to do to buy its way into his/Republican favor. Let the bidding begin.
Yep he is trying too hard.
The Chamber moved to the left way back before 2010.
