Yes, a few really good volcanoes — or one spectacular one — will cause enough global cooling to make everyone on the planet long for global warming. Some might even come to acknowledge how puny humans are compared to the mighty forces of nature which actually do make a significant impact on climate. Where would that leave poor Greta?

It will take a spectacular one, probably three times higher than this one, to cause cooling. Alternatively a very long eruption, weeks or months, like the Iceland volcano. But otherwise don't expect much.
