Thursday, House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) appeared on FNC’s “Your World” to tout possible Supreme Court pick Michelle Childs, who he is promoting to be appointed by President Joe Biden to fill the vacancy to be left by Supreme Court Associate Justice Stephen Breyer.

Clyburn revealed he had gotten a favorable response from his fellow South Carolina congressional colleagues Sens. Tim Scott (R-SC) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) when he suggested Childs.

They are both Bush League Republicans.

Keep re-electing them at our peril.

Any person with integrity would decline Brandon’s nomination based on the fact that no matter how qualified that black woman might be, she will never garner widespread respect because most people will look at her as an affirmative action appointment. Of course these people don’t think in those terms, they are willing to sacrifice anything for that kind of power.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._Michelle_Childs

“In September 2020, Childs granted a preliminary injunction that blocked South Carolina’s absentee ballot witness requirement.[13] A United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit panel initially blocked the injunction granted by Childs, but the full appeals court reinstated it during an en banc session. Ultimately, the injunction was struck down by the Supreme Court of the United States.[14]”

Why don’t they just give Tim Scott a sex change operation and then he can be the liberal black woman nominee?

Trying to set the narrative a tad early, methinks.

Keep re-electing them at our peril

If she isn't pro-life, then our peril is a certainty. God is probably getting ready to pull the plug on the US anyway because of what we have become . . . a nation (even some churches) that has turned its back on our Creator.

One of the first cases the new Justice will hear is affirmative action. Awkward.

It is a given that they will keep re-electing them. The same thing Cicero said about traitors back during the Roman times holds true to today. And fools. A Nation can survive its fools. But it cannot and will not survive those who continue to elect fools. And that is where we are today.

WTF is it with SC “republican” voters??? Do those people not inform themselves at all? They appear to be “republican” democrats. Vote for the R whose names they recognize. Regardless of their actual votes and positions on the issues. I moved from my home state of California to the south hoping to escape kneejerk, mindless voting. With the exception of Florida, I have been very disappointed. It seems there are just as many uninformed, mindless republican voters as their are uninformed, mindless democrat voters.

Chulds still hasn’t been confirmed to the D.C. Appeals court (just nominated 12/23). How on Earth can a mere circuit court judge even be seriously considered for SCOTUS???

This will be a show. Dont fall for it.
Watch the Republicans.
As usual, they will not ask two crucial questions.

1) This question is just basic science, that anyone who learned high school biology could answer: Please tell us whether the life of a human being begins at fertilization. If not, please explain why almost all top embryologists are wrong.

2) The 14th Ammendment guaranteees equal protection of the laws to all “persons” Websters dictionary defines “person” as “a human being” So please tell us, do laws punishing murderers NOT apply to any of the following types of victims
Black, white, Asian, short, tall, men, women, old, young unborn?
