I wonder how long it will be before taxpayers start suing for the school system’s failure to operate. Taxpayers are paying for schools, teachers, infrastructure,etc. in order for their children to be properly educated. That hasn’t been happening for some time now. Sounds like grounds for multiple lawsuits.

.........many of the parents would be willing to conduct classes on a “volunteer, no pay” basis until NEW teachers could be hired.

I imagine too that some of these parents in terms of life accomplishments and IQ would represent a tremendous improvement over these striking teachers.
