Chris Wallace Learns a Valuable Lesson After Jeff Zucker's Ouster From CNN
redstate ^ | Feb 05, 2022 | Bonchie

Chris Wallace recently left his long-time, top position as the host of “Fox News Sunday.” Being the principled newsman that he is, he chose to run over to the shining jewel of journalism that is CNN to be part of their new streaming service. Since that announcement, we haven’t heard much of anything from Wallace.

Per Radar Online, which broke the Zucker story weeks before Zucker’s resignation, Wallace is not happy about the development.

In wake of the decision from WarnerMedia suits to oust Jeff Zucker, Wallace is said to be “second guessing his decision” even though he is believed to be earning $8 to $10 million per year.

“He went over there for Zucker and now Zucker is gone. Wallace feels that he has been stiffed. He’s got no staff, no Executive Producer and the guy he gave up a prized gig for has just walked out the door.”

While I’m assured Wallace is a brilliant journalist, if he went over to CNN based on the word of Jeff Zucker, that’s not exactly a ringing endorsement of his decision-making abilities

When Wallace left months ago, it was obvious that things were toxic at the “most trusted name in news.” Since then, multiple scandals have been exposed, from Chris Cuomo’s sexual harassment to multiple producers caught abusing minors. By contrast, Zucker’s transgressions seemed tame, but they were still an indictment of how rotten things were at the top.

Apparently, Wallace was counting on Zucker to insulate him from all the mess at CNN, including the territorial predations of Jake Tapper. That’s obviously not going to happen now, and Wallace has been left adrift.

Meghan Kelly ought to join Wallace over at the CNN house of subterfuge.

Being wedded to International Socialist ideology blinds the Third Eye to Reality.

Wallace is as clueless as Clueless Joe. He thought the CNN pigpen is a palace and is surprised to find himself covered in mud rather than glory.

Dude’s proven himself as stupid as I always thought he was.

“Meghan Kelly ought to join Wallace over at the CNN”

I’ve read that MK may have had a come-to-Jesus moment and is now doing some decent work via a podcast or something.

No matter what, I still won’t pay her any attention after what she and Bret Baier did at the Trump debate.

wallace had to be both stupid and desperate to join the nascent CNN+ ... CNN itself can barely attract an audience, so why would anyone expect that anyone in their right mind would *PAY* to see even more lies and Democrat propaganda?

my guess is that the CNN+ project was a desperation move on the part of Zucker to look like he could come up with something FRESH AND NEW that would somehow revitalize CNN’s failing fortunes and that CNN+ will be one of the first things thrown onto the cutting floor when new management takes over the new company, though it will be announced that CNN+ is being “paused” ...
