Yup the Canadian Ministry of Defense issued a statement they will not get involved.
They don’t want to risk an (early) Tienamen Square, where the troops joined the protestors.
Since Canada doesn’t have a Mongolian division to bring in to crush heads, it wouldn’t go well.
