Typically I never cared much for truckers...it seems many of them drive like d***heads. Spend miles in the left lane passing another truck going a smidgen slower.
Not to mention the dragonfly trucking. Very irritating
What you don’t realize is that most trucks are governed at 68 miles an hour now. If the driver was to have a mechanic adjust the speed up it would void his warranty. Likewise, trucking companies like to govern the speed of their trucks for fuel mileage savings and safety. Go back 20 years ago and you had very few trucks running the same speed, And you had many more trucks driving into the late evening, but DOT regulations have made all of that go away. Call your congressman if you want the trucks to move.
My unofficial Uncle when I was a kid was a trucker neighbor. His daughters babysat us. They were family.
Great guy. Loved him much.
When he retired, he and his wife sold their house and lived in a R.V!

And, they happen to be the very ones standing up, and holding the line, for our FREEDOMS, right now.
Truck drivers can't afford to make a single mistake. They are under intense pressure to get their loads delivered and passenger cars tailgate and dart around them like annoying flies.
They are also underpaid and overworked.
Give the truckers their space. Don't get in their blind spots. Don't annoy them. Just stay out of their way. Let them get the goods where they need to go.
If you hate trucks so much don't ever use anything they transport.
Put your actions where your mouth is!
Trucks passing trucks is most of the problems on interstates. It is magnified in hilly areas.
Some trucks have speed governors, so they may not be able to go significantly faster than the trucks that they’re passing.
Sorry douchebag, we don’t care much for you car drivers either. Most of you are speed obstacles driving below the posted limits in all lanes.
Out here on the road, we are at our jobs, with a destination to get to on time. You’re in your car doing whatever, but it isn’t what you do for a living, because nearly all of you can’t drive worth a $hit.
By the way - stop buying ANYTHING. Grow it or source it yourself. Your little feelings are far less important than paying customers receiving their goods on time.

Truckers used to be the coolest guys on the road — helpful and polite. That was back in the ‘60s and ‘70s. Now they’re bullies. I won’t drive the interstates anymore because of that. I-40 is a nightmare.
I know they’ve got it rough now, though.
