Walmart employees in most of the country have largely ditched their masks completely for some time.

That's true here in rural Virginia. Some masks came back on for omicron but not a majority.

Good start, however they continue the false narrative. The unvaccinated need to stay masked? Why? According to CDC now, their bible of health information, vaccinated and unvaccinated can spread Covid. So doesnt this policy nothing more than virtue signaling or like having to wear a scarlett letter before the public to show your sin of rejecting the jab?

Anecdote: I went to a WallyWorld yesterday to pick up some blades for a carpet knife. I was amazed to see so many shelves completely bare. The shelves that had goods on them were full however as they simply moved things around to other shelves to make it appear that they weren’t short of anything. Must be hell for the stock boys to keep shuffling things from the mostly empty shelves to the fuller ones. “Hey, why are there batteries next to the potato chips?” LOL

I told my friend at Publix that I noticed he had a new N95 mask instead of the cloth one that had the Publix logo on it, and he said they just had given it to him.   It was as stiff as a board and had gaps all around the edges.

Exactly. And lose the masks on the pharmacy and health clinic employees. If they choose to wear the nasty things, fine. If not, let them BREATHE.

I am in southern california where masks will not be required starting Tuesday for the state. However Los Angeles county where mayor Garcetti, the one who recently held his breath at 2 football games with many celebs as they were not wearing a mask insist all us lesser mortals wear one still.

I will later drive up to the Porter Ranch Wal-Mart in Los Angeles county and see if they are letting people in without a mask.
