You have to travel roads in New Jersey.
Here driving is a contact sport and some NJ roadways look like they’ve been hit by heavy artillery.
Southern area of Illinois is like the bastard step child.
Chicago gets the vast majority of any taxes and way down in agriculture south, crumbs.
Roads there are BAD.
All money for transportation goes to mass transit or bike lanes.
Same thing happens in Colorado: Denver gets billions while rural areas can’t even get a $100k bridge fixed.
