Large numbers of Republicans and independents have wondered just what was going on during the 2016 election season when Democrats were cooking up and talking about their claims that the campaign of Donald Trump was colluding with Russia.
The evidence just didn't connect for them, and a subsequent years-long investigation by former FBI chief Robert Mueller debunked the allegations.
So the questions have been around ever since – who did what to get that fake news scheme going in the newspapers – and the federal government, and Special Counsel John Durham is reviewing the evidence, already having brought three criminal cases.
But now there's a stunning new development: Just about as many Democrats as Republicans want an investigation into just what that year's Democrat candidate, Hillary Clinton, had to do with the collusion conspiracy theory.

Second, the chant of "LOCK HER UP" will ring out but we all know none of these traitors will ever be brought to justice. Maybe a couple lower level functionaries but the big dogs? Nope.
The Dems jumping into their own I investigation will setup a planned 3-5 year delay of even being allowed to talk about a Dem diss’n their own.
Mueller just couldn't make it stick and ran out the clock. He debunked nothing and besides debunking is not a term anyone on our side should use. Debunk is something done by the light in the loafers crowd at CNN.
Perhaps the “surprise” is because a bunch of her co-conspirators and members of Congress need to save themselves? It would be true justice if Schiff, Comey, Rice, and Xiden were caught up in the net. No way obozo will be implicated, even though it will be hard to deny he was all in.
Meanwhile, Durham plods along**.
** - If he is true to his reputation, the job is much more difficult than maybe most imagine. He is up against the same deep state that tried to take down Trump. That includes the political potted plants in the judiciary. In reality this is exactly what Mueller should have been doing, and his corrupt investigation with 12 angry demonkraps will become a bigger part of the story too. Durham got a very late start. We will see, I remain skeptical.

Maybe.
But I'm highly suspicious. Anybody willfully blind and stupid enough to have ignored truth and reality for this long and to this extent will require a lot of convincing.
Why is this a surprise?
Hillary is incredibly unpopular among Democrats. Democrats have as much control of who runs their party as Republicans do (i.e., none) - I'm sure having somebody both get rid of her and then be blamed by the MSM (where Hillary remains incredibly popular) would be fine with most Democrats.
When they have lost their religion, folks are left flailing desperately for either a scapegoat or some new religion to seize upon. The sainted Herself has been found to be an idol with feet of clay, and not a true icon in any way, shape, form, or manner.
Their first reason, or rather justification, to overcome the mounting pile of evidence against the Clinton Crime Family, is to protect themselves through finding a loophole by which to deny or nullify the evidence. But the sheer preponderance of that evidence sort of forecloses that option. Heckling, at this point, is not much help. So these folks are left with trying to replace the former paradigm with a “new and improved” version of delivering the benefits of socialistic doctrine to the great unwashed masses, because THIS time, they will select the right charismatic figure to lead to that promised land.
For the present, nobody is on the horizon, so the last strategy will be to hunker down, “in place”, until this promised savior comes along. But sooner or later, they will come roaring back, even more ruthless than ever before.
I am troubled and concerned. Also, I think this poll should be redone until a more favorable Hillary outcome is archived.

Exactly right. Only leftists use the term “debunk” in the media.
Mueller couldn’t make it stick. He wouldn’t answer the question how soon did he know there was no Russia-Trump connection. He strung this anti-Trump insurance policy out until after the 2018 elections, to influence the 2018 election when it looked like they were not going to get Trump on Hilliary-obozo Russia hoax.
He attempted to obstruct the POTUS in his official duties as head of state when he was in Europe, on the eve of meeting with Putin .... Mueller indicted a bunch of Russians who would never leave Russia to face their charges in the US. This was a blatant attempt to force Trump to cancel the meeting and raise further questions about Trump and Russia.
Also, his team’s wanted to set a perjury trap. They put this out into the public media to promote .... pressure Trump who at one time said he would talk to anybody, he had nothing to hide. Trump’s lawyers did a good job in keeping that in the box. Or did they? Instead, Mueller team did not try it because they knew the “evidence” was manufactured, materially fake and would blow the cover that Durham seems to have pried open a little?
The Clintons are most loyal to the Clintons.
It is no more complicated than that.

A Ukrainian-American operative who was consulting for the Democratic National Committee met with top officials in the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington in an effort to expose ties between Trump, top campaign aide Paul Manafort and Russia, according to people with direct knowledge of the situation.
The Ukrainian efforts had an impact in the race, helping to force Manafort’s resignation and advancing the narrative that Trump’s campaign was deeply connected to Ukraine’s foe to the east, Russia. But they were far less concerted or centrally directed than Russia’s alleged hacking and dissemination of Democratic emails.
Russia’s effort was personally directed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, involved the country’s military and foreign intelligence services, according to U.S. intelligence officials. They reportedly briefed Trump last week on the possibility that Russian operatives might have compromising information on the president-elect. And at a Senate hearing last week on the hacking, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said “I don’t think we’ve ever encountered a more aggressive or direct campaign to interfere in our election process than we’ve seen in this case.”
There’s little evidence of such a top-down effort by Ukraine. Longtime observers suggest that the rampant corruption, factionalism and economic struggles plaguing the country — not to mention its ongoing strife with Russia — would render it unable to pull off an ambitious covert interference campaign in another country’s election.
And President Petro Poroshenko’s administration, along with the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington, insists that Ukraine stayed neutral in the the race.
If these polls are correct, with all the crap the Clinton’s have pulled over the past few decades, why would this one issue wake people up? I’ll never understand why the American people think what they think.
