The truckers' convoy protesting COVID mandates across Canada has proven to be at least partly successful, as provinces are starting to relinquish their mandatory mask and vaccine demands, even as the action has enraged politicians and triggered a national emergency declaration.
Now the same movement is coming to the United States.
It was feared by Joe Biden's Department of Homeland Security to already be a threat, because the federal agency warned of the possibility of the disruption of traffic at last weekend's professional football championship in California.
But now a report in Newsweek has cited a email from organizers in revealing that the "MAGA Convoy," so named after former President Donald Trump's campaign slogan, "Make America Great Again," is to start engines in Los Angeles on Feb. 25, and head toward Washington, D.C.
"Many" stops are planned, the email said.

There is some misleading information somewhere. There was a post here I think yesterday saying they will be forming and leaving Barstow Ca on the 23rd?
That's the one with members stopping at Starbucks, along the way, to interview 1/6 snitches.
I think the FIB is already involved. Calling it MAGA is really bad idea because it gives the FIB more reason for trouble making and smearing MAGA.

It is probably better to say it is in solidarity with the people of Canada, France, Australia, etc. than to narrowly give it a MAGA brand. There is a broad, world-wide movement where people want to get back to normal and not be bullied. Tying it too closely to even one of our best presidents is a mistake. I know it is a given that the media will label us normals as “extremists” no matter what.

Seems to me that the worm began to turn on BLM when they started inexplicably camping out on public roads. The last thing we need is for that kind of nonsense to be normalized, and at this point I’m wondering if its Xi or Vladdy daddy thats calling these particular shots to snarl our commerce and shut down people’s freedom of movement.

And if the Canadians took the lead in this freedom movement - great! They have a lot at stake opposing their Little Emperor Trudeau. We should be happy to join them and not look like we are the big kid on the block and we are going to co-opt things and give everything our label. Americans do get too narrowly-focused.
If these truckers come to DC and shut it down, I assume you will support them. But at what point do people accuse them of being FBI? When they block traffic on the Beltway? When they close bridges?
Two maybe? I know we need to know... :)

My thoughts as well.
All truckers, large and small should suddenly take months vacation.
This could be where law enforcement in this country has to decide which master they will serve, tyranny or freedom. The white house response to Canada was a foreshadowing to their response here.
I disagree the Trump Rallies and boat parades were well attended. I think the problem will be thousands of cars mixing with the truckers.
The problem with this being FBI is that it is happening in multiple Western countries, and as a strategy it could be used by the West’s enemies to destroy commerce and freedom of movement. I’d say we are dealing with meddling in Western domestic politics by the enemies of the West.
Hey, people get to the point of being pushed to where they have nothing left to lose. Our real enemy is our own western governments.
It is the governments against the people. Our own government colludes with our foreign enemies.
So, I do not agree with your post.
