I’d enjoy someone seroiusly asking her to provide evidence why the country should love black people.
If your kid came home from school crying every day, saying, “The other kids all hate me,” you’d sit her down and say, “Honey, maybe you’re doing something to make them dislike you. Are you nice to the other kids? Do you play fair? Are you being a bully, maybe? You have to be a friend to make a friend. Let’s look at your behavior and see if we can find a reason for this.” Yet it never occurs to any black person anywhere to think like this. They only whine about how other races have the nerve to dislike their wonderful selves.
