I have never met a Dem or a lib who does not get all misty and damp over the Aaron Sorkin dream world that was The West Wing. Never saw an episode myself....

TWW would never get aired today because it’s not woke and the President isn’t being played by a famous Hollywood rapist or an alphabet person.

So she drew her inspiration from a show written by the same writer of “A Few Good Men”.

Look at her face in that photo when The Trump Administration was moving into the White House.

I couldn’t figure out why she was so irritating until I realized that she was doing a bad Alison Janey impersonation. Orange girl really thinks that she’s supposed to act like that.

She loves the phony and corrupt world of the DC Swamp. She’s a real Swamper and can’t control herself and her feelings.

I have watched every episode of West Wing, some of them more than once. There is no other conclusion to draw than that Aaron Sorkin is an extremely accomplished screenwriter. He is possessed of an ability to draw the audience causing viewers to empathize with the point of view he is advancing. He humanizes the issue and makes the viewer root for the person and therefore the conclusion that Aaron Sorkin wants.
He is very goods so he is extremely dangerous. If you look at the issues as they arise in the course of the years of the West Wing, which paralleled the Clinton administration, one sees after a few programs that Sorkin resorts to two techniques.
First, he personalizes the issue and makes us root for the side of the issue he favors because we instinctively root for the person he creates. He creates a sympathetic character to fit his politics. Second, if the facts of the issue do not fit, he simply reverses the facts so that the Democrats are shown to be on the sympathetic side and the Republicans are depicted to be knuckle draggers.
Sorkin is especially dangerous and consciously evil when he gratuitously assaults Christian values and Christian individuals. It is rare that he will show a Protestant Christian in a good light. He will depict a Catholic priest fairly and he will exert great time and effort to show rabbis to be wise, compassionate and intelligent. But Protestants are fair game and open to a rant by the President of the United States that humiliates Protestant Christians to their faces in the White House, for example.
The ratings of the show indisputably demonstrate Sorkin's ability as a craftsman. However, he is not to be admired but to be despised and sometimes feared

Not a surprise that Jen Pisant takes her cues from a TV show. What a twit.
