Jen Psaki says she was inspired to return to politics after binge-watching “The West Wing.”
The White House press secretary said during a recent appearance on Rob Lowe’s “Literally!” podcast that she was a latecomer to the former NBC political drama, only getting her Bartlet administration fix after leaving the Obama White House in 2011.
“I'm working at this consulting firm and I started watching ‘The West Wing.’ And I don't know what prompted me to watch it, but I binged the entire thing,” Psaki said.
Before going on her viewing spree, Psaki said she had been “exhausted” by the work on Obama’s campaign and at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
“In a crazy way, [the show] really brought me back to come back to politics and I ended up coming back and doing the 2012 campaign, and traveling with then-President Obama on his reelection.”
“So I was basically gone for like six months, and then I thought to myself, 'I've got to go back. I've got to go back.'”

TWW would never get aired today because it’s not woke and the President isn’t being played by a famous Hollywood rapist or an alphabet person.
Great…
So, our politicians and their minions are basing world politics … on a tv show…
great.
So she drew her inspiration from a show written by the same writer of “A Few Good Men”.
“Truth? You can’t handle the truth!”
Psaki the Retard
Baloney.
Look at her face in that photo when The Trump Administration was moving into the White House.
Hatred.
I couldn’t figure out why she was so irritating until I realized that she was doing a bad Alison Janey impersonation. Orange girl really thinks that she’s supposed to act like that.
She loves the phony and corrupt world of the DC Swamp. She’s a real Swamper and can’t control herself and her feelings.
Reality is never a factor for Libs.....
He is very goods so he is extremely dangerous. If you look at the issues as they arise in the course of the years of the West Wing, which paralleled the Clinton administration, one sees after a few programs that Sorkin resorts to two techniques.
First, he personalizes the issue and makes us root for the side of the issue he favors because we instinctively root for the person he creates. He creates a sympathetic character to fit his politics. Second, if the facts of the issue do not fit, he simply reverses the facts so that the Democrats are shown to be on the sympathetic side and the Republicans are depicted to be knuckle draggers.
Sorkin is especially dangerous and consciously evil when he gratuitously assaults Christian values and Christian individuals. It is rare that he will show a Protestant Christian in a good light. He will depict a Catholic priest fairly and he will exert great time and effort to show rabbis to be wise, compassionate and intelligent. But Protestants are fair game and open to a rant by the President of the United States that humiliates Protestant Christians to their faces in the White House, for example.
The ratings of the show indisputably demonstrate Sorkin's ability as a craftsman. However, he is not to be admired but to be despised and sometimes feared
Not surprising. What a ninny.
I binge-watched Breaking Bad. What’s her point?
Well, this explains a lot.
She might have started with season 3 or 4 and then circled back to the beginning.
typical of the lightweight she shows herself to be in every press briefing.
Not a surprise that Jen Pisant takes her cues from a TV show. What a twit.
I’m into survival shows, police and EMS dramas, older sitcoms.
Let’s find out what music saki listens to.
I'm also basing world politics … on a tv show......Its CALLED Jurassic Park! .
