Women sports, and electric vehicles. Not wanted by the majority, but still foisted upon us.
What about a Valentine card?
Lol. The U.S. Soccer Federation is or will soon be under bankruptcy protection. These so-called athletes won’t get a dime.
The women could split from the men and have their own independent national team. Then they could manage their own money.
Maybe the roller derby but not soccer.
So begins the financial decline and eventual folding of the USWNT.
I thought this was really a case of poor contract negotiations vs discrimination.
Another solution: not have a women’s team. Shut it down and tell them they can compete for a men’s team slot.
Maybe if they played in lingerie, like the women’s football team.

I had a similar experience years ago. Thinking back on it I realize that while the girl had some skills that I instinctively pressed my physical advantage and her skills became irrelevant. In basketball (as well as other sports) if you can body someone out of a good defensive position and go over the top of them any time there’s pretty much nothing they can do — man or woman.
I recall several past occasions where an elite female collegiate player worked out with NBA players. Cheryl Miller (Reggie’s sister) for one. The fact that there were no stories afterward of her prowess suggests that it wasn’t pretty.
The Philadelphia Eagles had a woman from USA Soccer kicking field goals in practice during camp a couple years back. Supposedly she was nailing them from pretty far out. But watching the film she was taking an extra step to generate the power and the kicks were low. Most of those kicks would have been blocked.
Yeh, kinda bizarre; sueing because your own contract is unfair, discriminatory.
Go figure 🙄….
The men's team will be able to attract less talent and become more unwatchable than it already is. The women don't care; they'd rather get a bigger slice of a smaller pie.

...guess what? Now the WNBA has another argument to point to. This will cascade into other leagues. It’s absurd.
This suit was about the national teams, not the professional leagues; the WNBA is funded in part by the NBA, while the men’s soccer league has nothing to share with the women’s league.
I remember Cheryl. You are absolutely correct about the positioning and jumping over someone. Girls can have pretty strong legs, but they can’t jump for shit. I play co-Ed volleyball and the discrepancy is very prevalent.
The females are often more technically sound, but we’re just more athletic and aggressive. Volleyball was a girls sport in Wilmington DE where I grew up.
Just the athleticism of weightlifting and basketball transferred well.
Even I wanted to punch Joe Rogan in the face at the suggestion Rhonda Roussey could beat a man at similar weight.(worst stand up ever)
A woman might beat a man at three point, unguarded set shots, but that’s not sport, just a repetitive skill.

...not the point. The WNBA players have the same gripe - “equal pay”.

The women’s soccer team and WNBA do not have the kind of women who men like to watch, whether in uniform or out of uniform.
