I guess Russia wants a land corridor (and water supply) to Crimea. Do they go to the Dnieper?

That, a land corridor, seems to be the aim. However right now they are still in the donbas region.

Honestly I’m surprised. I didn’t think Putin would go beyond Donetsk/Luhansk…but even the mainland is in the crosshairs. This is so very disturbing.

No, they are bombing Kyiv’s airports right now and allegedly downtown Kyiv. In fact, there are major explosions being reported in dozens of cities from the West to the East.

This is not about the land corridor. They are taking out the government, saying the Jewish President is leading a Nazi country, and that Ukraine must be demilitarized.
