Following a whirlwind of complaints from Disneygoers about poor merchandise quality, “berserking” price hikes and the recent decision to gut free FastPasses in favor of paid Lightning Lanes, a recent report from KTLA’s sister station shows that a trip to Disneyland in Anaheim is now nearly twice as expensive as traveling to Disney in Marne le Vallee, France.
This month, the outlet reported that it in June 2022, it costs a total of $4,571.50 for two people to stay at the Paradise Pier Hotel – the cheapest Disney property resort available – for six nights with five days of park tickets included.
Meanwhile, at Disneyland Paris, the cheapest on-property hotel, the Hotel Santa Fe, was quoted at $2,173.66 for seven days of theme park tickets and a six-night stay (no meals were added on and no insurance was selected). Even with a $1,456.74 flight from Los Angeles to Paris included, the experience would still come out to a grand total of $3,676.06.

I could live w/o either trip.
Both options fund the same, woke company. It was fun 15-25 years ago. Pass.
I would prefer to see the tank museum in Bovington, England.
LOL! Same.
Never cared for Paris. Liked Krakow better....if it lasts.
Came close to moving there.
I’ve spent time in Vegas and Atlantic City, and both of them are pikers at separating you from your money compared to Mouseland.
Or the Air Force museum in Dayton, OH. Or the Naval Aviation museum in Pensacola. Both are free!
Once the armor museum at Fort Benning resumes restoration operations I plan to spend a few weeks each summer helping out. The Bovington guys plan to help getting the King Tiger operational. There is a lot of stuff there.
The airplane graveyards are on my bucket list.
If I lived in Pueblo Colorado I'd help with the restoration toward flight worthiness of their B-29.
Oh yeah, we have places to see.
Yes bit you have to put up with the French
Writer should have compared Disneyland with a place worth visiting. Paris is a mess and I wouldn’t go there if the trip was free.
These days where crowds of people are, there I wanna be ain’t. Overpriced and overrated.
There’s a nice unofficial tank/armor museum outside at Ft. Carson, Colorado Springs, CO. They even have a Russian tank.
I’d rather stay home in PA. Screw both places.
But my children appeared to have a good time. Overall.
I did like the food court at Epcot. The one with all the restaurants from the different countries. One night in 1997, I let my wife take my children to the big sunset parade with the fireworks afterwards. I resolved to have a drink in each of the Epcot restaurants in the meantime.
They found me passed out on a bench around 10pm outside that Moroccan place. I don't remember a darn thing.
Anyway, now that the children are grown up, the wife and I spend half that amount to go to Las Vegas and have a great time. Las Vegas is the adult Disneyland.
Who would even think of taking a family or going solo to either. Disney. . .land of perversion and Paris, France, well.
In 1954, we stayed there overnight for free. My uncle’s chicken ranch was on the site of what would become Disneyland.
That's nothing compared to Californians
If people voluntarily pay for it, it is affordable.
“I would prefer to see the tank museum in Bovington, England”
Well if you ever make the trip let me know. I’m an hour from there.
I hate wasting money and at that price, it seems a waste....
