The West Could Have Prevented The Russo-Ukrainian War, But Chose Not To: Biden and our European allies closed every off-ramp for Russia while misleading Ukraine into thinking we would defend it.

The fact is that Europe doesn’t do shit to protect themselves. They expect us to fight their battles….I say bring our troops home and put them at the southern border.

The U.S. cannot be trusted as an ally.

You f*cked up! You trusted us.

True. Just odd, that the world ‘community’ didn't really care about Crimea and Georgia, etc and implement harsh sanctions. This is pure theater at this point.

I shudder to think what is the US responsibility in this with the criminals that represented her during the Odungo years.

Alrighty, then.

Mexico should embrace China and sign on to Belt & Road, permitting Chinese naval facilities and protection from US aggression.

And under your logic there’s not a damned thing the US should be able to do about it.

I’ll see your Tomahawk and raise you my thumb.

Just my thumb.

Just be sure to wear your armband so we can pick you out of the crowd.

Why does the West feel the need to try and figure out if they played a part in what Putin is doing?

Maybe Putin is just a dickhead.

Because all U.S. media have their personal shrinks, to tell them that they're Stuart Smalley. So, they end up self-analyzing.

This only makes sense if you read it as Biden allying with Putin.

This goes straight back the the GWHB years, 1992, new world order and all that stuff.

I think this is very true. If Trump and Pompeo had been in charge, this would have been the strategy.

But Biden - corruptly involved with the Ukraine in the first place, which no doubt made them feel secure - felt that taunting Putin made Biden look like a tough guy, and in a lot of ways, he and Blinken almost made it impossible for Putin to step back without losing face. Russians, especially authoritarian types with a messiah complex, are very obsessed with appearances and avoiding the appearance of weakness. At the same time, Biden & Co. never imposed serious sanctions so Russia had little to fear.

But heck, making Dementia Joe feel like a real hombre is worth any cost, including WWIII.

So if we had just appeased Putin as was done over the Sudetenland, we would have had peace in our time. If I read the article correctly.

Ukraine is still defending itself, despite lack of any real help.
President Zelensky is blaming Biden for abandoning Ukraine.
It is a real tragedy!

Why does the West feel the need to try and figure out if they played a part in what Putin is doing?

Because now we are led by liberals, it’s what they do.
Self assumed guilt absolves them of responsibility.

If John Daniel Davidson had been around in 1938, he would have believed that the Sudetenland would be Hitler's last territorial demand.

The Russians promised in 1994 to respect the sovereignty and borders of Ukraine. Why should anyone think that Ukraine surrendering Crimea to Russia would mean that Russia would respect the integrity of the rest of Ukraine?

If the Ukraine had not bowed to Biden and fired Hunter’s prosecutor they would have not been invaded by Russia. Sleep with flees and get bit.

True. And that is a very interesting point. But then again, they unelected Poroshenko (the Soros guy who came in after the Russia-friendly Yanukovich) and elected Zelenskyy.

It’s getting disturbing that some on the right seem to think that they need to defend Putin. Just because he has a couple of policies we agree with, doesn’t mean we need to agree with everything just to “own the libs”.

We seem to have our own emotional and unthinking core of people who believe that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. A lot of the time, they are still not your friend. There are a lot of shills on here.
