WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) announced that he would force a vote on his resolution to repeal travel mask mandates on public transportation. This vote will take place when the U.S. Senate returns to session.
“Since March 2020, unelected bureaucrats have incessantly declared that we should ‘follow the science.’ But the same bureaucrats continue to defy science by imposing an ineffective and restrictive mask mandate for individuals traveling on public transit and airplanes. As the entire world is learning to live with COVID, the federal government still uses fear mongering to stubbornly perpetuate its mandates, rather than giving clear-eyed, rational advice on how to best protect yourself from illness. That is why I am forcing a vote to repeal travel mask mandates on public transportation and put a stop to this anti-science, nanny state requirement,” said Dr. Paul.
Dr. Paul has been a leading advocate against mask mandates. He previously introduced the Travel Mask Mandate Repeal Act of 2021, and continues to be outspoken against mandates.
Rand Rocks!!!
Thank you, Rand
:)
Senator Paul, MD is a great American.
Make masks illegal. Wearing one is punishable.
Yes he is a Patriot
The current mask travel mandate is due to expire on March 18, 2022.
How about repealing the vax mandates ???
Follow this with a vote to get the TSA to stop treating people like luggage at the airport and I might actually fly again.
....I had heard that, but still....I would be willing to bet that the idiots that supposedly run this country will extend this mandate beyond that March 18 date....they cannot and will not give up their masks....
You can absolutely count on it. And sometime around late August/early September, you can count on a new "variant" that will require reinstating mask mandates everywhere, and of course, the need for mail-in balloting.
I’m with Rand on this!!!
I’m all for it. Enough with this nonsense.
