There’s currently a strong vein of peace through weakness isolationism currently running through the right. These political suicide bombers who insist on supporting Putinist Russia will lead the GOP and therefore MAGA to catastrophe in the midterms/2024 if we don’t stop them.

What irritates me about this current discussion are those who keep talking about not wanting to get dragged into a war but without saying what non-military actions, if any, they actually do favor. I suspect many of them think we should just ignore what Russia is doing and take no sides at all, but don't want to say that out loud.
I must stress the urgent need to weed out the Putinist agitprop polluting the site. Take down this type of garbage.

Not many have ever dealt with war or been in harms way. Those that live in Chicago or Baltimore being excepted. But many want to have others jump into a war that they themselves really know nothing about.

Who the hell are you to be telling posters what they can say? We are being fed nothing but lies about this conflict and to object to the propaganda is not the same as supporting Putin. But, if we were to point out that the Russians might have legitimate objections to the expansion of NATO on their borders that should be ok too. This is a free and open forum and if you can’t handle that go somewhere else.
If people want to be isolationist, that’s a legitimate political position to take. But at least take the position openly and then defend it.

Agree. Reagan gave us peace through strength. This is peace through weakness: let’s just look the other way while Putin finishes raping Ukraine. Afterall, she deserved it. Then everything will be ok.
Putin is polling at 4% in the US now. The folks who think he is the bulwark against Soros Globalism and savior of the faith in the west are not exactly brimming with confidence right now given that.
It’s much easier to undermine his opponents. In this case Ukraine. It is of course silly to suggest Duda of Poland for example is Soros’s agent but they are going to give it the old college try and see what sticks.
