The planes are being repossessed by creditors. They’ll be seized if they are outside Russia after March 8. Putin plans on stealing them.

The new additional circunstances being that since Feb 28, 2022 Europe has closed their air spaces to Russian air traffic....turning some flights back at the onset of the denial.

Aeroflot suspended flights because foreign airports told them that their airplanes will not be allowed to land. If they forcibly land, no jet fuel for them to return to Mother Russia. Passengers are will not be allowed to disembark
My take on this!
Reminds me of the summer of ‘91, when members the Nomenklatura tried to stage a coup and kidnapped Gorby, and after a week or two, several of the big wigs, whose names are now forgotten, “fell ill”. Then several more. Then the coup collapsed and Gorby came out and related all he had gone through, with himself as the hero, of course. All these euphemisms for “everything’s gone to sh!t” are just as entertaining as what was then called “the Kremlin flu”.
What will they call the Visa and Mastercard cut-off? ‘new additional circumstances impeding the operation of finances’?
