Unlike Eric Holder or Merrick Garland, Barr simply chose not to use his office publicly to pursue political ends. Now that he is out of office he pursues political ends with a book.

Let’s discuss that a little.
On the surface, Barr looks principled in not pursuing an opponent’s crimes for reasons political, “wouldn’t be proper” etc.
But as AG, Barr doesn’t get to choose who and who not to prosecute among connected persons. Barr played politics here.
Barr’s job was to prosecute.
Barr chose not to do his job; he disobeyed.
That said, it was somewhat okay for Barr to tell Trump “politely and respectfully” that he shouldn’t discuss it but he still had the duty to investigate.
Barr should have said, “Mr. President, with all due respect the Hunter Biden matter is under investigation but I’d rather not discuss unless I see it’s vital to National Security. Mr. President, if you have obtained some information concerning this matter, please tell me, otherwise I wish to remain neutral as this involves your opponent in an election year.
As I think on this, I would say Barr is in fear of surviving, prompting him to flip-flop in his behavior.
In other words, Barr is a coward.
I would say the same if it was Merrick Garland talking to Biden about matters of Don Jr.
He also used to NOT pursue unlawful enemies of this country.

This is an insane statement.
First, Barr let Mueller (his friend, their wives went to church together) proceed even though he knew there was no evidence and Mueller was in late-term dementia. That is ignoring the fact everyone on Mueller’s team was a democrat witch hunter.
Barr allowed the dossier to be pumped in the intelligence agencies and the spying on the Trump Campaign. Did not try to stop the coup attempt.
Ignored both Hunter’s and Clinton’s lawbreaking.
Ignored the voter fraud and allowed the election to be stolen.
He is nothing but a political animal that is/was willing to destroy the country by playing for the Democrat team. All he did was pursue or ignore political ends.
He and his ilk make this country a banana republic.
