I am very disturbed by it. What good is our legal system if lawyers can’t take disfavored clients? The country since 2009 has been on a very dark path. Trump could not stop it. They stopped him instead. The nation cannot continue like this. Antifa, BLM, persecution of Jan 6 protestors, swatting, selective persecution, anti-white crimes, non-prosecution of black thugs...
Well, its funny. The lawyer can TAKE the client. Its just that the lawyer himself will be ruined for it. Absolutely Soviet style. We’re being fired (me!),outed, deplatformed, debanked, and being classified as domestic terrorists, which will make it all legit.
This is the beginning of the end of the American Empire.
“I am very disturbed by it. What good is our legal system if lawyers can’t take disfavored clients? “
I agree. Chief Justice Roberts, the President, and the leaders of both parties in Congress should speak out publicly against this threat to what the Democrats are always calling “our democracy”. The Bar Association should also immediately begin an ethics investigation of all attorneys involved in this effort leading to disbarment.
Unfortunately we are beyond the point where there are commonly held standards of decency, morality, ethics and professional behavior. We are also long beyond the point where good men and women should have made a stand against pure evil.
We can stop it. We choose not to. We continue to let the state GOP apparatus and RNC pick who we vote for. In addition to the fact that there are still many “Republicans” who’d rather have someone like Jeb, Kasich, or Romney running things as opposed to someone like Donald Trump.
Face it, there aren’t but 3 or 4 members of Congress that are aggressive like President Trump and they are marginalized and labeled the fringe.
The days of “playing by the rules, we’ll do it right” Republicans are over.
If the Left, especially as it is now, would crush every Republican and Conservative if they could. They would have zero problem putting us in camps and said so during all the covid nonsense
