Keystone XL developer says it’s too late to restart pipeline project

I find it hard to believe that something like this is impossible.

Hand the job to Trump. He’ll get it done in time for President DeSantis.

I have an unfair, unwarranted, and mean-spirited question. I wonder how many of those “good union job” holders voted for Biden.

...I am ashamed to have thought that unworthy thought. But, God forgive me, I did think it.

Reading the article: “the man camps are empty! They’re selling off the trailers!”

No kidding. The pipeline is essentially built. They just need to commission it, and start filling it with North Dakota and Alberta oil.

The government posting a surety bond? If the project goes under, who pays for that in the end?

Good in concept, but not workable.

They would have to have an unconditional guarantee from the EPA and the White house that they would not be shut down again.

Then they would need to locate, purchase, transport all of the materials. This isn’t off the shelve supplies. It’s all special order.

I have a construction company and we needed 1 made in America fire hydrant (we have the buy American clause because there is Fed money in it) for a project I am working on right now. Our original material supplier ordered it in January but told us 2 weeks ago it wouldn’t be available until the first of May. We finally found another supplier who had 1 and had it shipped to the job. We’re scheduled to complete the project in the 2nd week of April. If we had to wait until May for that FH, we wouldn’t complete the job until Mid-June.

It’s a good thing all the genocidal billionaire psychopaths are hiding out in their New Zealand Great Reset escape compounds.

Never know what might happen to them if they were more accessible.

And the government gets its revenue from where?

Oh BS. There’s always some harpy to cry doom. “This can’t be done.” “That can’t be done.”

I don’t disagree with you about either the pipeline or the nay-sayers.

But consider the fact that in 2022 we don’t have the means to deliver men to the moon (and return them safely!)—something we could do a half-century ago.

The dogs bark and the caravan moves on.

How much of the pipeline was completed before Biden pulled the plug??

Canada wants the pipeline finished. There have been several recent stories on the need.

I understood the pipeline had the capacity of pumping over 800 million/barrels/day whereas the most we ever bought from Russia was right at 600 million/barrels/day.

They would be back in 48 hours if construction resumed.

I agree. What’s with all this “can’t” cr@p?

There are some big obstacles in the way, though, like Obiden.

Oh BS. There’s always some harpy to cry doom. “This can’t be done.” “That can’t be done.” FO.

THEY SAID IT COULDN’T BE DONE
by
Benny Hill

They said that it could not be done,
He said, “Just let me try.”

They said, “Other men have tried and failed,”
He answered, “But not I.”

They said, “It is impossible,”
He said, “There’s no such word.”

He closed his mind, he closed his heart...
To everything he heard.

He said, “Within the heart of man,
There is a tiny seed.

It grows until it blossoms,
It’s called ‘The Will To Succeed’.

Its roots are strength, its stem is hope,
Its petals inspiration,

Its thorns protect its strong green leaves,
With grim determination.

Its stamens are its skills
Which help to shape each plan,

For there’s nothing in the universe
Beyond the scope of man.

They thought that it could not be done,
Some even said they knew it,

But he faced up to what could not be done...

And he couldn’t bloody do it!

What we need is Gulag Keystone. Send every scumball male hack in DC up there to work and finish up this pipeline. And don’t pay them sht. A dollar a month with free food and free bunking accommodations.

I dont understand why Republican presidents can’t sign CONTRACTS with companies that can’t be ignored by future presidents!

IF you have a CONTRACT, the courts should be able to enforce it on any future attempt by a future president to ignore it.

Oil and natural gas are critical national strategic interest resources. I have no problem whatsoever in having government step in and help as needed, how needed. If that means guaranteeing some critical pipeline, then GET IT DONE!!

It’s not a Biden mess. Destroying the oil industry is Democrat dogma. Businesses are going to very reluctantly invest in that sector now.
