I wouldn't believe anything coming out of CBS or any of the other propaganda media. CBS in particular is the company of Dan Rather and they even kept him on the payroll AFTER he got caught forging documents.
Because there is plausible deniability. Afghanistan and it’s utter horror and $85B loss along with the 13 dead are squarely on Brandon, Milley and Austin. Thus the state-run media hide and lie about it.

Why does the NYT even bother sending reporters into the field? They can manufacture their lies from the comfort and safety of their offices in New York. Hard to feel bad for a guy we know was just there to generate propaganda for the Gray Lady.
