I thought the Europeans were all one big happy union family over there now? Stand as one for Ukraine, their European brothers and what not? Wouldn't the rest of Europe feel totally comfortable with their German brothers being armed to the teeth again? Shouldn't they all be armed to the max? After all, the Hitler of the 21st century is at their door.

Pacifists are like non-drinkers. There are two groups:

1) The moralists who hate alcohol have never touched the stuff and never will
2) The recovering alcoholics who love booze so much that they do bad things when they get it.

Germans are the second group of teetotalers when it comes to war.

The European Union (EU) has always been a big bicycle. The two wheels are Germany and France. When the wheels come off the Union is done. I am surprised that it has survived as long as it has.
