Yup. And its fair and equal treatment.
And there will be plenty of non-combat places to put them as well, there are multiple people behind each infantryman supporting logistics and support. They can do needed logistics in an office or warehouse, they don’t have to go to combat. In fact they should not be put into squads because they reduce squad mission capability and morale. But they can be useful in support roles and not reduce fighting ability.

That is not legal under US law. They will be infantry, and everything surrounding that.
If women are going to demand half the programming jobs, half the engineering jobs. half the CEO jobs, then they should be half of those on the front lines. You can’t demand half of the prestige jobs.
They should be half the fatalities as well. If they are running below expectations on fatalities, then the proportion in the front needs to be adjusted so the fatalities are equalized.
