The topic is indeed about borders. There as here. To attempt to limit a debate does not advance any discussion.
Actually the topic here is about peaceful Ukraine being invaded by Russia. If it was about borders then someone could post about the border between any two countries for any reason under the sun, to which I would make the same reply.

The reply I made by the way, was not limiting or denying free speech. You should be careful with such a garbage accusation. I asked if she wanted to post about the southern US border if she could start a thread on that topic since it doesn't include Ukraine. There is a concept known as "thread hijack" and a lot of people don't appreciate someone doing so.

--- "There is a concept known as 'thread hijack' and a lot of people don't appreciate someone doing so."

Thread title -- "Tucker Carlson Notes the Moonbat Crazy Over Ukraine is Bipartisan"

Your first reply on this thread altered the topic, as above, to American troops, not Carlson's stance. Your second reply, to post the Newsweek article, was on topic. For this your were sarcastically thanked for "an example of the FR media echo chamber." And then Jane Long commented. Your third reply on this thread described another's comment as "childish." Then a number of comments were addressed to you, and your response to Jane Long was about what the thread topic was, from which you'd already strayed. She responded, able to care of herself, to which you suggested that you made a "point which flew right over [ her ] head."

So much for you as self-appointed monitor of a thread. As to the Tucker Carlson editorial and your complaint about him, I shall agree with the late comment to you in the form of a graphic, showing Bush, Obama, Biden, Soros, Mrs. Clinton and others as apparently agreeing with you and Newsweek.

As Americans, all sides are protected in their speech, and I don't find an FR rule about "thread hijack." The Carlson thesis was about how craziness is become "bipartisan," and now partisans want to enroll him as a guilty party and traitor. I read the great sense of Bastiat and Smith, but also the lunacy of Marx and Engels, to be informed. This last sentence may be construed as a "thread hijack," if you wish.
