Why cut the gas tax when you can have a state “rebate” and have the government control the redistribution.

Well, then:

I reiterate my prediction of spontaneous EV fires as this ‘crisis’ continues to highlight the criminality of all things ‘green’...

I wonder how difficult it would be to design a small set of stickers with Brandon’s mug and a finger pointing out that reads, “Democrats Did That!”
And sell them on Amazon.

I’m betting someone already thought of that, though.

Were California voters properly represented when the bill was voted down? I have trouble imagining that they really like high gas prices.

I live in the heart of the Permian Basin
where oil/gas is the lifeblood of our
local economies.
Many trips between SE NM and Houston would
see convoy’s of tankers and service trucks.
So much so, that travel on US 285 was
hazardous. That flow has slowed to a trickle

Note: These taxes do not include the 18.4 cents/gallon federal excise tax on gas. The have a temporary cut on that tax will require Congress:

Believe it or not, a democrat actually proposed a gas tax holiday in Maryland.

Oh wait, he’s running for Governor. Never mind.

Democrats don’t understand the concept of supply and demand. The only understand demands.
